I used to own a DCE1 and it was a fantastic guitar plugged in for live gigs. It was actually pretty decent unplugged as well. Most surprisingly it was great for recording through a mic.
Obviously the DCE5 will be somewhat different, rosewood instead of mahogany, better quality etc.
They are most definitely heavy though. But as a live workhorse, that's not such a bad thing.
