Hi all, thanks for the info 
I have had a lot of trouble with my left hand latly.
Wants to lock up and cramp up painfully after playing for just a short while dont know whats up with that...I do seem to be able to hold on to my steel bar ok though, so I have been playing pedal steel a lot and not very much guitar....besides I can sit down to play my steel so I dont have too many issues with my knees bothering!..enough of that!!
I am playing a jam this weekend if all goes well! ...at least going to try!
