Welcome. In general Guild tends to discontinue models that don't sell well or have a replacement that Guild thinks is better or more profitable. Guild also will rename models but keep similar specs.

Welcome to LTG! You seem to have one of the previous GAD (Guild Acoustic Design) series F-130.
There is a long number inside on the neck heel which would tell you when she was built.
All GAD instruments are stamped with a 10 digit internal manufacturing number located in the soundhole, at the base of the heel block. This number embodies production information about the instrument. As an example, we’ll use a random number 1104330026.
The first two digits of this number identify the production year. In this case, 11 would stand for 2011.
The second two digits identify the production month. In this case, 04 would stand for April.
The next two digits, 33, are of no significance and are an internal number used by the vendor to identify their order number.
The last four digits identify the unit number of the order. In this case, 26 would stand for the 26th instrument made to the 33rd order.

The GAD series was discontinued in year 2014 when Fender Musical Instruments Corp. (FMIC) sold the Guild brand to Cordoba Music Group (CMG). CMG reintroduced a similar line called "Westerly Collection" but they redesigned and renamed all models which were still made in the same factory like the GAD series, which is GREE (Grand Reward Education & Entertainment, the GREE factory is located in Guang Dong province, in southern China).
The model which would have been the closest to the previous F-130 would have been named OM-140. But they also discontinued this model after some time and only still offer the model with a cutaway and a pickup called OM-140CE.

Hope that helps!

Ralf

The GAD series is one of the best Made In China acoustics out there.

Guild GAD series
Epiphone
Recording King

On a budget, these are great MIC offerings, and for me, GAD is tops.

If you have a bit more $, Eastman is really good.

But at that price point, I'd be looking for a deal on a westerly RI made Guild.

Hi GUYS ;thanks for the info.I paid $600 for it. the tuners were upgraded to Grovers. I didin't know it was made in China, but it still sounds good. Seems like all solid wood. I traded a Martin SC-13E [ a real dog!] for this guitar . My tech still has it , it didn't need much adjustment ,maybe sand down the saddle a bit. It has a K&K pure mini but haven't plugged it in yet . Keep you guys informed when I get it back ,Thanks!

Like Woody said: "one of the best Made In China acoustics out there.". All solid wood used.
But there should be a round label in the soundhole showing it? Like this example: (NAT stands for natural top).
