We're doing some serious upgrading to our house, including the addition of my long-awaited music/study room. :D It will occupy the largest bedroom downstairs, about 19' X 12'. Fresh paint, new carpeting, will be moving in all the instrumentation, library, etc. soon.

Stay tuned for more man-cave developments and photos!

Before and after shots would be very revealing. :D Particularly if any of us have aspirations of similar efforts.

Sounds great! I sometimes wonder if my nest will ever be empty...

Just a bit more painting and it's ready to move into. Note the oak rail that is perfect for leaning guitar cases against without mucking up the wall. :D

Yeah, well at least the grandkids aren't living here full-time any more!

Picture scares the $%^&* out of me, but that's because I've had cases fall from that position.
That's an easy fix, just have enough cases lined up so they don't have enough room to fall.
Ideally with guitars in 'em.

A big plus one on that !!! I probably should take a picture of our empty spare bedroom, for the time being we can call it our guest room.

Wife & I love it when grandkids come to visit, they often do & we cherish those days. But rarely would you see either of us shedding tears when the grankids are returned to their parents.

On three occasions over the last 10 years our own parents have lived with us while battling serious medical issues. For once im my life I made a good decision, insisting on a one level floor plan when we bought the current house, it's paid off in spades. Thank you Lord.

AMEN to that one, Jeff!! With my knee problems stairs are not a good thing. I ruled out ALL two story homes!! Single level living at it's BEST!! Finally my brain kicked in.... for once!
