Hi, just looking for some history on these guitars. I've owned 3 of them since 99.
Mostly curious of how many were produced and are possibly out there in the world.

Billy Zoom from X was hot rodding my 62 bassman in 98 and I asked him when his Custom Gretsch Zoom Model
was happening. He wasn't sure but reached over on a table and picked up an M75T and said, "Try this, it's got the
right pickups that Japan doesn't have the rights to" I later bought a blue one and a champaign one. I've gotten a
great tone with a both the bassman and later with a Blackstar Club 40. cheers

Welcome! Stick around - nice folks around here. I've had a couple of DeArmonds - they are well-liked around here.

Someone will be along shortly with a substantive answer to your query.

The DeArmond M75 and M75T were/are great guitars. I still have a M75 and am looking for a deal on a M75T or M77T. I had owned both models but sold them and naturally have sellers remorse.
Not sure how many were made. The M75/M75T have a little deeper/thicker body than the M77T/M77T. If I recall correctly the M77 is less than 0.10" thinner but I never could distinguish a weight difference. Pickups were the Gold Tone Humbuckers on the M75/M77 and 2k Single coils on the M75T/M77T. The headstock on the M75/M75T has the classic Guild "3 bump" shape with the larger raised "bump" in the middle. The M77/M77T have the single center bump headstock.
Main distinction of the M75 vs M77 was the M75 has the floating harp stop and the M77 has a traditional hard stop. The tuner have the "Grover" shape buttons on the "M75" series and a smaller different shape tuner button on the "M77 's".
Both seem to be of similar quality.

Welcome.

The “how many were made” question comes up a lot (for Guilds, too) and it’s pretty rare to get an answer. Where serial number charts are available some assumptions can be made, but for the most part we don’t really know.
