I've tried out a DeArmond M70 that plays well and looks pretty nice. I have no real background on these guitars and was looking for any input. I could pick it up for $100. I certainly don't "NEED" another guitar, but figured that maybe I'd get it and try it out for a few months and just craigslist it (or put it up here), when I want something else.

Yes, I'm habitually buying, playing for a month and selling lower end guitars for fun. I figure it's less annoying than going into Guitar Center and spending hours playing their stuff and only occationally buying anything.

Any comments are welcome.

DeArmond guitars were quite nice for low priced Asian guitars. I'm not too familiar with the M70 (I had an M72 & M77t), but if it's a set neck with Goldtone pickups and made in Korea, $100 is a deal. The Goldtones are great sounding pickups. I gigged with my M72 for many years. The only complaint I had was it was a heavy guitar, about the same as a Les Paul. Cases are also hard to come by since they are an odd size.
