Looking at a D412 1999 at my local dealer. Its pretty much mint with case. He has it on at £560 ($800?) Any thoughts on price / pedigree. Haven't tried it yet. Seems quite a good deal. I have been looking at 12 strings for a while.

D412? Dreadnought size, mahogany back and sides, hand rubbed finish (not glossy)?
$800 is a bit on the rich side. I got mine off of ebay for $450.
Not bad guitars at all.

Having lived in the UK for two years my experience was that for most things whatever cost a Dollar in the States cost a Pound in England. Blue book puts an average D4-12 between $475-$550 and an excellent one between $$650-$750. So a mint guitar for that price might be okay. Go play it. If it's anywhere near as nice as my son's D4 it should be awesome! If we have any more Englishmen on this forum now's the time to song out mates!
