Gobs of thanks to all for the assistance. I live in Mumphis and took it to a well-respected local luthier (TK Guitar Services) who was unfazed by neither bulge nor bridge. He gave it the 12er a quick once-over and found no other faults, beyond needing a quick fret polish. It appears the problems with the top are due to bracing coming unglued because of wood dryness. Other than being a pain in the ass to make the repairs, he’s confident that it’ll play piano again for not much moolah. Again, thanks so much for all the advice. Breaks over, back on yer heads.
