Spotted one of these in a local shop today. 1997, arched back. Nice shape, just a few small surface dings. I've never played a D-25 of any vintage, 6 or 12 so I was very curious. Wonderful sound. Lots of volume and sustain. Big, bright, bold tone. Very easy player for a 12'er. I've owned a few 12 strings over the years and this played easier than any of 'em. I've also learned I'm not a 12 string guy. Every one I loved, then lost interest. Just not my thing I guess but I sure see why people like 'em.

Shop was asking $895 with a hard case.

I love mine, 'keel, but wouldn't mind an upgrade to a 12er with an ebony fingerboard (just like 'em better). Mine is awful nice though, and the Tobacco Burst is maybe my favorite of all the Bursts.

I really enjoy owning my D212, it's super cool, easy to play, and very smooth sounding. It delivers on all fronts, including plugged-in sound. However, a jumbo Guild 12-string is a holy mother of a different sort, and a forever must in my home. Therefore I own two, and maybe another some day !
