Anyone know or have any experience with CRATE acoustic amplifiers? I have an opportunity to purchase a brand new model ( CA-6110DG ) Gunnison it's their 60watt dual amp.1tweeter/ 1-10" speaker with separate controls and many features and effects controls. At a price less than a much smaller and better equipped than a Fishman Mini. Size, weight & portability are not an issue for me as much as quality of sound & tone for my own use at home mostly.Any input or advice from a knowledgeable party would be much appreciated. Thanks!

NJS,WELCOME TO THE FORUM!!! i first have to qualify by saying that i know nothing about the new Crate amps. i will say that i have been using my Crate CA30 acoustic amp for well on 7 or 8 years at this point (i believe) & it has never let me down.
when i bought it, i had a Martin D18 SS (slothead 12fret D18) with a Fishman Blender (miss that guitar) that i brought into the local mom&pop shop. i tried 2 different fender acoustic & some cheap dont remember the brand acoustic amp & was completly unsatisfied (not to say the Fenders werent good amps, just too complicated & had too many gizmos--i believe that simpler is better when it comes to road gear) & were VERY heavy.
i almost overlooked the little Crate because of its size, & because its 'only' 30 watts. well, i plugged it in & was very amazed. no buzzing, very clear, full tone; simple controls--low, mid, contour & high. bonus--reverb & chorus. it wont give me a hernia & the 'only' 30 watts has proven to be all that ive ever needed so far, what with the coffeehouse gigs & open mics that ive lugged it to.
so, if the new Crate amps are anything like the relic ive been using, it will be well worth checking out.
