Michael Rhodes, Esteemed Bassist and Nashville Session Musician, Dies at 69

Rhodes passed away at his home in Nashville, Tennessee, the morning of March 4.

I met him at a NANM show around 1984 or so, at the Guild booth. He was endorsing the Pilot at the time. I'm a big fan of Rodney Crowell, Rosanne Cash, et. al. so knew who he was immediately. Nice talk with him. Love his playing.
