My graphic artist freind has photoshopped some pickguards onto 'Blondie'.
It currently has black and I was thinking of going to tortise, but then I found other materials. I will be cutting one out from a sheet.
I vote for leopard. Anyone else have an opinion? :?:

......well....I was assuming that no leopards would be harmed in the fabrication of the pickguard........if thats not the case..........kill a turtle instead and make that tortoise one!

I'd vote for the more conservative look, but I don't know what kind of music you'll be playing. Leopard might not suit lullabyes. Black might not suit grunge. How 'bout we recycle old tortoise shell objects like hand mirrors, or eyeglass frames. :D

Funny Funny Thread!

Ha, you guys are too funny.
I promise, all materials are synthetic.

I put a Burlwood pickguard on my trusty old Norman. It goes nice with the Cherry wood.

Bobby.

The burlwood really compliments Norman nicely but I think I prefer the black one for Blondie. :)

Definitely the burl.

I liked the leopard at first, but I think the burl compliments the flamey maple better. Come to thin of it, it's the only "wood" pattern of the bunch...
