I hate cases except for shipping. I travel / gig with 2 basses at a time and they go in my leather probag double

weighs a ton! but so much easier than 2 huge unruly rectangles

Those are basses? Six strings and seven?

I just keep on finding out new stuff!

It looks pretty soft. Do you find it provides enough protection compared to say a Reunion Blues or similar soft case? I guess my main concern would be something banging into it or neck support if it fell. Looks nice though.

The leather is very thick and heavy... without instruments it holds shape. Most of my other gig bags start folding in half when empty (or while trying to get stuff in or out) once they 've been used a couple times.

Yes, I have zero reservations about the protection provided... I have clipped tables & door jams moving in tight places and neither bag nor basses cared.
