This band (Saviours) didn't impress me a whole lot, but dude was rockin' a Guild:

(They opened for CLUTCH, who played one of the best sets I've seen from them in a long time.)

Nice. Gotta love Clutch ! Bring on the new album and world tour.

Well, if you have a chance to see them on this tour especially - GO!!!! I'll take a Clutch show any day of the week, but honestly their last few tours haven't been quite the Pure Rock Fury I've come to expect. This one, however... \m/'-_-'\m/ They're back in the mode I've come to conceptualize them: Rock 'n' roll tent revival. Started off with PRF, then Profits of Doom, and the the whole set had a smattering of new tracks, Blast Tyrant tracks, S/T, and...yes...Transnational Speedway League (including A Shogun Named Marcus and the Great Shining Path of Monster Trucks)...and 50,000 Unstoppable Watts (this is an old video with crappy audio I shot a few years ago).

Knick knack patty whack give the Lord a hand clap!

Hey Q, thanks for the links mate. That looks like a great setlist. Yeah, the last couple of times I saw them,
the sound was a bit muddy, maybe due to the venue or the sound guy, but great shows anyway. They always
put in 110%. Jean Paul has to be one of the finest damn drummers left on this planet.
I love ales and stouts, but I am more partial to malty ales with just a hint of hoppiness. I tried the sierra nevada
IPA a while back, it was drinkable but way too hoppy for my liking.

Have you tried the Clutch beer ? Sounds very appealing to me, if only I could find it in Oz.

Cheers mate.

My friend got one at the show and I had a sip. Good flavor, but I don't dig sour too much. I restricted myself to a couple PBRs because I was driving (the Clutch beer is something like 9%). Anyway, New Belgium is opening their second brewery here in my town. Pretty cool.
