My band just opened for him at a benefit for Santa Fe youth services at the Capital Bar in Fort Worth, TX. Here's a link to the club flyer with our band name buried in the middle We're called the Cowtown Music Club.

Nice fellow, said he wanted to meet our band and did. More importantly, his stage crew left us plenty of room on the stage to set our equipment up. That kind of friendliness comes from The Top and we really appreciated it!
Oh, mild Guild content. I actually took my '66 StarFire III. My luthier just reset the neck and put some new frets on it. It was running sweet, but I chickened out at the last minute, because I couldn't find a set of 11 strings with a wound G string and the intonation kept going South. Back to the Stratocaster!
Anyway, Mr. Keen put on a heckuva show and it was a pleasure to open for him. The crowd loved him, too. He loved them right back. They both had a great time!
So what about it, anybody here like Mr. Robert Earl Keen?
Harry
PS If and I mean if I get any pics, I'll try and put them up.
