Is anyone else into Andy Timmons?
griehund's post about learning a new song (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=31644) reminded me of how I've been spending my time recently - learning a Timmons song, "Electric Gypsy". Pretty much the only solo guitarist I was into before this was early John McLaughlin stuff. But Timmons is unbelievable! He also seems to do tons of guitar shows, has lessons on-line, and has tab sheets available on his web site as well - a great promoter for guitar playing and for Ibanez in particular. He just put out a CD of Beatles covers, so I thought I would share a few links, if anyone is into this kind of stuff:
