The rosewood bridge would probably be a replacement as the specs indicate ebony for this model. Also, can't quite tell, but the saddle appears shaved as low as it can go.

But even if both those speculations are accurate, this is a KILLER price.

I agree. It's a great looking Guild. Maybe there's a lot of fret wear, and fingerboard divots?

All in all, it's perhaps been played long and hard. But still looks to have a lot of potential for the price.

Hey 'zilla...the bridge on yours is ebony? I couldn't tell for certain by the pics on the Westerly guild site...

Yes, Pat. I've never seen any of the G-shield Gruhn/Walker guitars that didn't have an ebony bridge. But I sure haven't seen all of them by a long stretch. Never had seen a cutaway version of the F-44, until today.

You're probably right...seems they don't mix bridge and fingerboard wood. The price is pretty dang tempting anyways...

I thought the bridge shape was rather un-Guild like. But I'm not at all familiar with the Gruhn/Walker era guitars. Does seem unlikely that it would come with a Rosewood bridge and an Ebony fingerboard...............
