Hi everyone,

I hope you're all well and heathy!

I saw a 1960 Guild T-50 Cordoba for sale in Paris but, I was surprised by the color of it's back. It's a weird swampy green, how come ? It's sad coz the front looks stunning.. I was wondering if one of you could highlight me on what happen ?
Thank you,
Have a great day

That's not green! It is simply the reflection of the light! Nothing wrong with that back. The front picture was taken from longer distance, see the changed color of the leather. And one of the pictures shows the top also greenish as well. It's the light in the store and the camera that took the pictures.

But that one in Paris is sold already.

weirdly enough, the same post of the same guitar has been reposted by the website with written 'available'. Probably a mistake of them

Interesting, when I checked last it showed sold. Now again available. Maybe the buyer returned it? You could always call them or write them to ask.

I did! And you are right the guy brought it back.
They ask 3500€ for it, what do you think about the price ? I might be interested but I've never seen this model for sale therefore I have no idea what is the correct price...

To me that sounds way too high. But I let others comment, Walter for instance should know better what a good range is.

by the way this is also interesting ! in case of you're looking for this model
Well yes, it's a deeper body and much older. Depends if you are willing to maybe invest in possible restoration, hard to see from the pictures. Price certainly better. That one picture just shows some loose binding, I guess any good luthier can reglue that.

for sure!!! thanks for your reply and your estimation, I thought it was way too high, I was expecting something like 2000-2500 max..
