A really pretty sunset in Vegas

Nothing momentous just another Las Vegas sunset. We look East from the front. Sorry about the vehicles but they're everywhere!! I loved the color of the clouds and the light on the trees!! I went to the kitchen to get some water and looked out the kitchen window. Such a lovely sight. Today it was sunny, then windy AF, and then rain came in now it's just calm and cloudy.

You call that a sunset? LOL. But yeah, the light, and just clear skies, can't beat that. We had a super clear and sunny day up here today, and we're starting to get those super-colorful sunsets. (It's amazing the Sun sets so much further north than just a few months ago.)

They ought to start letting the lake (Pend Oreille) fill up to its summer level pretty soon -- they take it down quite a bit over the fall and winter so the spring runoff doesn't flood the summer shoreline. It takes a while -- it's a BIG lake -- almost 100,000 acres.

Yeah, i know... we have better sunsets out the back but... I wasn't out back. So you get this one. Out back it's all yellow/orange/rose and all those amazing colors. But, as I said... I wasn't out back.

@chazmo it's been so pretty here, except for the wind. The last two days had trees down and crap all over the roads. But it's been lows in the 50's and highs in the low 80's. Nice. I know it's short lived. Late next week we're up to 95 and a low of 70. And then summer is right behind that.... oh and the a/c has been kicking in daily. Welcome to high utility bills....

I thought I'd posted these, but it could have been in another thread. This is from my friend Jessi's backyard last week.




That hotel is South Point, which is far south on Las Vegas Blvd. It's where they have all the horse shows and equestrian stuff.

I would love to see a sunset pic from immediately outside of Heartbreaker Guitars in Vegas. While there, pop in and ask to play the Furch Vintage 3 DSR they have advertised. I'm dying to know if the hype is legitimate.
