A little help with a serail number

First post and trying to find out a little more about a DeArmond Starfire I'm looking to buy. Could somebody tell me anything about this serial number KC90062347.Is this guitar made in Korea. She's looks like a Starfire IV and the headstock has a Guild truss rod cover plate. Cherry red and the pick guard is inscribed " Bourbon Street Jazz Band- New Orleans ". The pics look good and the seller is looking for $575.00 Cdn. with hardcase. Archtop guy at heart and hope to add to my collection: Hagstrum HJ500 & Hofner verythin

I'm confused by the next two digits as this should be the month, but "00" doesn't fit the criteria. I assume it's June and the 2,347th guitar built.
