Mikey,
An outstanding group, and two of the greatest Canadian rock musicians. And sadly in my opinion, under-appreciated outside of The Great White North.

Always loved the run from "Undun" through "Hand Me Down World", favorites in my junior high sound track. Have the charts for all of 'em.

"Hand Me Down World" has a great descending bass line that's fun to play on guitar!

Thanks for the reminder RichardP!
The Four lines of lyrics(Too many mountains................) in the break of Undun have always been a favorite of mine since I first heard the song in 1970.
Randy Bachman(BTO) out did himself with this one imho.

Richard/Walt,
You might find this interesting:

Going to drive my teacher a little nuts again by suggesting we fool around with this one on Friday.
Wonderful,

I was listening to some of my old CD's today and came across these. Always loved these two tunes.

Listening to these songs make me feel like an old man. I haven't heard them in years. They also remind me of just how some of these groups and tunes were so much more musical than many groups today. "Back in my day, sonny boy . . . . . . . . . " ;)

Uke,
Being the Luddite that I am, I believe there has been almost no music since the Beatles broke up.
I can't stand the computer-generated/enhanced dreck that passes for popular music today, and only listen to an AM station that plays oldies, or a couple of FM stations that play classical music.

I like the bass line in Green-Eyed Lady. I was an aspiring bass player when I first heard the song, and worked to learn it.
It was a real letdown when I found out that it had been played on a keyboard!
50+ years later, I'm still an aspiring bass (and guitar) player.

Figured I'd not start a new thread and just put it in this one that fits...

One of the finest vocal performances of all time. Jefferson Starship's Mickey Thomas lends his immense talents to the Elvin Bishop's hit. Best version ever!

Wow, that was great! What a voice.
