25.5" scale length archtop/hollowbody?

I have no inside info, just read a bunch of links when I was interested. I do recall seeing a Japanese ad for them. There is a sunburst one on Reverb that has the MIJ sticker.

You'll also find a ton of contrary information, definitive statements they were all made at Samick etc. I don't believe what I read online without some kind of reliable confirmation and there doesn't seem to be any for this model.

The Elitist version was made in Japan. Anyway, it's a good guitar for the money. Apologies to everyone for the veer

You've got some good recommendations at various levels (the long-scale Epiphones, 17" Gretsches, etc.) -- but don't give up on a player grade '50s Guild. They pop up now and then for $2-3k, and they can be amazing.

I delved into finding longer scale archtops a while back, just passing this on. Not sure it's 100% correct! do your own research.

My '09 Sadowsky Semi-Hollow is 25.5", as are his other archtops. However, not inexpensive...

oh, i nearly forgot!

Hofner Thin President, Verithin and other German made modern Hofners. Very nice guitars and can be had for a steal since no one seems to want them used.

My Gibson Johnny A has a 25.5" scale. It's a great guitar!

Not many in existence let alone for sale, and I doubt you’re gonna find any beaters out there. I have a Benedetto X700 and it’s glorious.

Assuming you mean 25 9/16" and the fact that it's not 25 5/8", I don't know how that would bother anyone.

I meant 25 9/16 as it's a bit of a longer scale than most archtops.
