Could anyone advise me if HB1's made in 1990 are any different than earlier versions?

Yeah I followed those excellent threads (partly inspired by having made a mistake on assessing my '98 Starfire pickups which was put right for me), but this guitar is specifically 1990, marking the date I think at which the Starfire IV achieved its last reissue. (new serial number edition) thats why I was wondering if there had been any late '80's changes.There is a 4-wire version made around 1993/4 that GAD has included in his articles below. After that then Guild switched to Seymour Duncan pickups and then the newer HB1s which were a different pickup other than in name.

I can imagine! I haven’t measured the resistance on these yet but they have a lovely ‘woody’ quality (one of my friends described as ‘’cello-like’) which I find really exciting!My first guild was a 1990 SF-4, and the HB-1s were great!
