Yeah, more photos. Doesn't look like a '60 headstock... does it?

Frosty is right! That's about a mid-'70s guitar.

Sincerely,

Gee, do you think someone on eBay could be attempting to slip one by us? Not eBay? :lol:

I sent a request for more photos,
Joe

The F-20's almost always had a smaller pickguard.

Here's my '67;

Notice mine has the black headstock plate and pearl logo.

I believe Hans says the ebay one is a '70's is because it appears to have the rosewood plate with the gold silkscreened logo.

Hey Kurt,

Actually I said it was about a mid-'70s guitar. Early '70s Guilds have the rosewood headstock veneer but this one doesn't look like it has that feature, which was not a standard feature on the F-20 anyway.

And pickguard? Didn't think they made 'em that shape on an F body.

It looks like a mid-'70s F-20 because of the 'typical' shape of the pickguard; more 'Martin' like than the usual Guild small 'teardrop' shape.

Sincerely,

Hans Moust
