I have a Guild D100C that has serial number:
AD100085, the sound hole label says D100 but it definitely has a carved heel and built in fishman electronics. I'm trying to figure out the discrepancy between the model and the actual guitar along with finding the serial number listed anywhere. Any help is appreciated. IM000316a.JPGIM000318a.JPG

Hello, j.solomon,

Beautiful D-100C. There's no discrepancy in the model here although I think you're saying there's no "C" on the label, is that right? That's just an omission on the label. Would like to see a picture of that label though...

Is the serial number on the label the same as what's branded into the back of the headstock? A picture of that would help too.

The date of this guitar, as you said, is beyond the table that we have. The table is not accurate for dating anything 1997 or newer, but we have a couple of members who might be able to date this for you better. I'm moving this post to the Serial number forum...

Sure is a beautiful acoustic. Gonna take a wild guess, based on other high end Guild acoustics, and say 1996.

You might use a flashlight to check for a date step on the beveled edge of the neckblock (visible thru the soundhole). Guild often stamped the completion date for the rim assembly there.

I'd also suggest contacting member Hand Moust at his website : http://www.guitarsgalore.nl He (literally) wrote the book on Guild acoustics, and has many of the records from the Westerly factory.

Pretty guitar!
