I lost internet connection earlier. When it came back the screen is much darker than it was. Is there a way to make my screen brighter????

I probably can't tell you how, but what device are you using to connect? Phone? Laptop? Kindle?

In a browser, assuming you are still connected, search for “Adjust Screen Brightness ” and append something close to your computer and/or operating system to the search: “Mac”, “PC”, "Win 10”, "Win 11", etc.

You should get results such as:

If it's an all in one system like a laptop you can click on the windows icon on the lower left on your screen, then mouse up and then click on the gear icon...settings...then click on system...'display'...there's a slider at the top of that window...brightness and color 'change brightness for the built in display'...just slide it to the right with your mouse for brighter...left for less bright.

If it's not a laptop then follow Chris's suggestions for the more complicated systems.

Oh, mine's a PC...if yours is an Apple I'm not familiar but still, start by looking for 'settings'.

That's what I did on my PC as I didn't know the answer to your question...if you shut down and rebooted yours after you lost your internet connection you might have accidentally had it reset itself to factory specs.

PS: most systems have many adjustment options, at least mine does...note that brightness and contrast are two different things...if you have both options you can adjust either or both of them to your comfort...as well as font size and color...some also have settings for enhancement for the visually impaired.
