Got this about a week ago form GC online for a decent price. Super clean, no chips/dings or headplate delamination. Came with the original case as well. I think its a 1986. I had to shim the neck to get proper adjustment on the bridge and string angle. Soldered the capacitor as I think the battery was bouncing around and busted the the solder joint. New battery clip and strings coming my way.

Sounds and plays awesome. No longer in the one and only Guild club.

Congratulations! I have an '86 in smurf blue, and love it. The "foot" headstock (@The Guilds of Grot approved) would be correct, and it's a nice light poplar body. Love the off white too!

Thanks…. It’s a pearl white turning a little cream in color. It’s definitely lighter in weight than my 77’ Mustang and more balanced.

That wouldn't be a problem as the face of the headstock is just painted.

Hey, @nickelwound where did they put the strap button on that? Just curious. Can you give us a picture of the back too?

It's on the back of the upper horn. Seems silly, works great! Later they moved it to the end of the horn which IMHO isn't as good.

Looks like the end of a Schaller strap lock to me, nickelwound. I doubt it's original. But, as Grot said earlier, this is the original position for it, anyway.

Wow. It took me about three looks back and forth to see the differences, @hansmoust !!! Amazing.

Do I sense another "drawer of the month" coming? :D :D
