Very interesting as always, thanks MNFlats!

I also celebrate my birthday on the same day as Jeff and the Nuge, and it would be fun to raise my glass with them before kicking the bucket. Rev. Billy Gibbons also invited since his is only three days later. Then we could all join Keef on his eighty-first.

Thanks for sharing these too!

Isn't that Don Felder with the black Strat?

That's Andrew Gold playing the black Strat with Linda. And Skunk is playing an Acoustic Black Widow on show Biz Kids.

Thank you. I knew Felder had a stint with Ronstadt (he also likes black Strats) but wasn't 100% this would be him.

I noticed the Black Widow myself, and I think it's the first I've ever seen played on a stage.

He really is an amazing person. From The Doobies to Steely Dan, countless session credits, his work as a producer on other people’s records….all the way to his being a consultant to the US Defense Dept specializing in missile defense systems. (He also consults to numerous contractors in the field and has spoken/testified before the US Congressional Intelligence Committee numerous times.)

One of his lesser know gigs was a “super group” he helped form in 1990 that only played a few shows in Japan. Skunk, Keith Emerson, John Entwistle, Joe Walsh and Simon Phillips were all in this short lived band called The Best. They basically did 3-4 tunes from each star’s career…then a few jams on top of that. Pretty wild!!

There's some repetition here with the FB link in the OP, but also a bunch of other, interesting content as well:

All very cool, and I just freaking adore the anecdote about Segovia, Zappa and Bloomfield all in Dan Armstrong's store at the same time.

Always loved his playing...he always played to the song, no more or less than what was needed and his chops are simply amazing! Here's one of my favorites from Steely Dan - My Old School. Sounds like he pretty much plays every kind of lick you can imagine, without ever overplaying it :
