Hello folks
So, I bought this beautiful Nightbird a few months ago from a local seller in Switzerland. It's in great shape, was bought directly from the first owner, who'd got it from the swiss importer (Dino Olar, who collaborated with Hans Moust back in the day). It's spent years on the road with his great Post-Rock-Band and then a few years in the case until I got it, cleaned it and had it setup. The HB-1s sound amazing. Research being hard on these rare birds, the best I can assume is that's it's a 1992 Nightbird II model. (I couldn't find a single example online of another guitar with these exact features. Serial is BL100621.

Thing is: While I love the sound, I just can't handle the wide neck. I just don't play well on this instrument. So after trying again again for a few months., I decided to let it go on to someone who might have better use for it. It deserves to be played.

I paid around 1800$, which seemed like a fair price. That's what I'll ask for, I'm not trying to make a win.
So I figured, before I put it on one of these plattforms, I'll try LTG, where these instruments get so much love.

If anyone's interested, DM me. Shipping is possible, I'd prefer Europe, I'll have to figure out the costs and conditions depending on the situation.

Nice looking instrument. I can honestly say I've never seen a Nightbird-labeled instrument with stock HB-1 pickups.

I have two. :)
Man, I wish I could play it! But I've gathered from your blog that you like those wide necks and are not so taken with the slim vintage ones (which I happen to be very comfortable with, i love my 66 Starfire V). So I guess it makes sense.
Just out of curiosity: Are the 90ies Guild-necks in general comparable to those Nightbirds? Because I'm also often tempted by the S-100s and Starfires from that era, but haven't gotten my hands on one yet...
