Thank you in advance to the forum members for any assistance you may provide. I am a novice player having taken up guitar as a “seasoned” adult, and have been bitten by the collecting bug.
Recently purchased what as sold to me as a USA built Bluesbird from a Guitar Center in St. Louis, MO. (Please don’t judge me LOL). The serial number stamped on the back of the headstock is CM 000192.
Oddly, there is no marking indicating where the guitar was made on the headstock, or anywhere else that I can find. From photos I have seen, ”Made in USA” is clearly stamped below the serial number. Trying to determine if the guitar is authentic and fairly original. Came with a hard case with green interior marked G&G The Original Vintage Case Company that fits well. Interior pocket contained a Guild owners manual circa 2002, a Fender Owners Registration card, and tool. The pricing was in line with others listed on Reverb.

. I have some time to return the guitar if I have picked up a dud. That said, it is absolutely beautiful, and the sound is exquisite. Your thoughts and comments are most welcome. Thanks again.
