Congratulations! I couldn't be happier with my '67--the pickups on these are perfect for a 12 string. Does yours have a volute? I can't tell from the photo--is it a Westerly era guitar?
How tight is the fingerboard on that? Is it Rickenbacker narrow?
So some guitars came with volutes, some not? Mine is a '67 with a volute, and I thought according to Hans' book volutes were more or less standard from 1965 until the Westerly move. There goes one of my "dating at a glance" systems for earlier Guilds.That's still a Hoboken made one, a 1967 one.

Ok. Thanks. I thought a volute was a piece added to reinforce the neck. To me, it just looked like that’s how they shaped the neck.
